Alfie McAra

In his past life, Alfie was a football coach for 6 years and studied Performance Analysis at University before feeling the need for a new career path. He joined Understanding Recruitment after a referral from his friend Harry Bullock. With no prior experience in recruitment, Alfie has 'received amazing training and support since joining' that he would recommend to anyone considering a role in recruitment to now be an important part of our Contracts team as a Researcher. He adds value to candidates and clients alike by doing everything to the best of his ability to ensure the process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. 

Alfie's favourite thing about his job is talking to people every day and building close relationships, as well as working with the team. 

A little-known fact about Alfie is that he loves fashion and designs his own clothes to wear in his spare time!
