Alec became a part of the Understanding Recruitment Group in September 2023, fresh from earning his Psychology degree at the University of Sheffield. Despite commencing his career in recruitment with a focus on software development, he joined forces with James Parker-Mendez and James Hunt to launch Futerra Talent. Specializing in Clean Energy, Energy Storage, Smart Energy, and Future Mobility, Alec is passionate about working closely with candidates to help them discover their ideal career paths. On the client side, Alec engages in a consultative partnership, consistently prioritizing long-term growth plans. In his leisure time, Alec unwinds by passionately supporting Sunderland AFC. An interesting fact: Alec picked up Discus to participate in school Athletics days (and get the day off school!).
