The Scottish Highlands | 105 Miles | Challenge accepted!
27 Apr 2017
That's right... we will be heading to the Scottish Highlands this September to run, cycle and kayak across 105 miles with the aim of raising £5,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The route of this two-day challenge takes in some of the most mysterious and wild locations in Scotland, from Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness, Glen Nevis and Glen Coe, to name but a few stunning sights.
However, the Highland terrain and weather (especially in September) is going to make for an incredibly challenging, yet epic journey. After the 56 miles that day one presents us, sleeping in a small tent at Fort Augustus is really going to add to the difficulty that day 2 will bring!
As you can see, the challenge will not only prove to be a real test of physical strength, but mental strength too as we journey from the east to west coast of Scotland. It's a real step up from our previous physical fundraising attempts such as The Herts 10k Challenge and the Nuclear Races Mud Run (and they were tough enough!)
