Service Desk Manager

A completely brand new role in a brand new team has just arisen for a Service Desk Manager to join a leading charity based remotely (with infrequent travel to London or Salisbury). This brand new role will help form the brand new team within this charity, as they seek to grow and expand their operations and reach to help the greatest amount of people that they can. As the Service Desk Manager, you will take on a hybrid role which mixes helpdesk support and server administration. Due to the nature of the brand new role and team, there is plenty of opportunity to grow within the role and the organisation, including ample potential for growth and progression. This role is pivotal in ensuring end users are provided with the best service possible.

As the Service Desk Manager, you will be working in an Office 365 environment and will be responsible for the troubleshooting of any IT problems, as well as helping to implement new infrastructure and services. You will also aid the maintenance of core systems and applications e.g. Salesforce. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Service Desk Manager to expand their skillset and to really grow into a role and help to shape the way the charity are going. You will have the opportunity to work on some really exciting IT projects as they migrate their helpdesk to internal instead of outsourced.
