Senior Java Developer

Salary: Up to £75k + Bonus + Shares

We are partnered with a global Digitech who provide bespoke software solutions that improve client-customer relations. They are looking for a Senior Java Developer for their team to design and implement full-stack solutions In a collaborative, client-focused environment.

They work with some incredibly high-profile clients, including Disney, Marvel, Bacardi and The NHS. The Senior Java Developer will develop solutions that are built using Java 11 (including JVM and Multi-Threading) and JavaScript, within a Spring framework ecosystem and Microservices architecture; all of which are deployed to AWS.

The Senior Java Developer will have the opportunity to:

• Work across the full development lifecycle from conception through to release
• Work with release management, change control and live deployments
• Develop large-scale and high-performance web-solutions with an additional focus on client interaction - with internal and external stakeholders

As the Senior Java Developer, you will be leading by best practice and mentoring more junior developers. As a result of the industry and size of the clients, there is a big emphasis placed on code quality.

As well as this, the Senior Java Developer will get exposure to an array of DevOps tooling, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.

This Senior Java Developer position is currently fully remote, and will offer a 50:50 split post-pandemic. In addition to this, they offer a bonus scheme, share options and a host of great benefits.
