Senior DevOps Engineer (Container Tech)

We are looking for a senior level DevOps Engineer with either a development background or exposure to Kubernetes and/or Openshift to join an enterprise level tech group who compete with the likes of Microsoft and Mimecast building cloud storage tech at massive scale.

The team have grown their UK tech group to over one hundred people since opening last year (as part of a large global tech group) and are building out a large DevOps and Reliability Engineering group to partner closely with development teams, deploying to Kubernetes, working with build systems (Maven, Gradle) and maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.

This is a complex infrastructure environment with the team looking for absolute control of speed and resilience, following an 'IOPS' method. They work in a private cloud, with lots of bare metal and are would like to speak to those interested in this type of environment rather than public cloud.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with:

  • Either a development background in any major language (as you'll be embedded with Dev teams) or Container experience using Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Exposure to build systems, CI pipeline maintenance and improvement, automation and deployments (any tooling but Ansible would be useful)
  • An interest in working in a private cloud environment

Salary: upto £120,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

Location: Central London, currently fully remote with flexible working available next year
