Product Designer

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 3-months+

Day Rate: £550 Outside IR35

A very interesting opportunity for an experienced and user focused Product Designer. You will enhance digital design for a rapidly growing company that brings new innovative healthcare solutions to the market.

The Product Designer will work closely with a product team to delivery and understand the customers journey, execute product roadmap and create a compelling user experience to enhance engagement. As an experienced Product Designer you will be able to make a big impact and influence decision making and suggest new ways to enhance the teams overall efforts on delivering an enhanced user journey.

The Product Designer will develop innovative and ready to build digital designs using best in class UX and UI principles. You will run usability tests with existing and potential customers which will uncover customer pain-points and new opportunities.

This Product Designer contract role is a customer focused role so if you have worked within a product team which has made a difference with enhancing the user journey… then this will be for you!

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in digital design with a degree in design, psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI) or any related field
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strength in both UX and UI
  • Experience in product discovery such as conducting user research, understanding customer needs and boiling these down to new features
  • Ability to rapidly produce multiple design mock-ups
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to critique decisions and give constructive feedback to team members
  • Strong, analytical and creative problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage strict, frequent deadlines
  • HTML, CSS and javascript knowledge including experience working with responsive web design frameworks such as Bootstrap
  • Hands-on experience working with Figma, Sketch and the Adobe Creative Cloud products as well as willingness to learn Webflow for rapid website building.
