Lead Engineer - Live Streaming - Fully Remote

• This real-time streaming platform is looking for a Lead Engineer to join its growing engineering function.
• They are a multi-tenant live streaming platform, reaching 1.2 million concurrent users on live events, operating across more than 30 countries. They have built a platform and multi-language user-facing streaming applications with their own player engine.
• The cross-platform aspect means there are multiple problems to solve, ensuring that the live real-time user experience is very high.
• They partner with the likes of UFC, WWE, Football, NFL and more.

Responsibilities:

• Tech Stack: React, Node, TypeScript, AWS and Cyprus for automation.
• You will be leading a team of 3 developers (no previous leadership experience needed)
• Ownership over the web projects, improve processes
• Building customisable and attractive user interfaces for their clients.
• continuing to work on the performance and scale as the platform handles millions of concurrent users.

This is a fully remote or office time in London available, offering a salary of up to £105k plus bonus up to 25%.
