Junior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a junior level SRE or DevOps Engineer to join a Times 'Top 25 to work for' and FTSE100 company, who are investing in the improvement of their cloud based systems and infrastructure reliability and resilience as part of a £100million+ tech transformation programme.

The team are going through a major migration of their application and server environment to AWS, implementing modern ops and reliability tooling and importantly, process and culture, growing a large SRE and Ops team headed up by an ex-Amazon Engineer and a superb mentor for those joining.

Tech wise, they have a heavy emphasis on serverless and IaC, implementing improved monitoring and infrastructure SLAs, whilst automating heavily in a Java/Python development environment.

They are flexible on your skill level and experience and a chance to join a team and progress.

We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with;

• Exposure to AWS cloud environments, serverless/Lambda a benefit
• Experience working with Java applications or Python scripting would be beneficial
• Any exposure to monitoring tools, infrastructure as code (Terraform or Cloudformation), CI/CD and automation

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus Bonus, great pension and benefits

Location: Bromley, Kent. Currently fully remote, flexible post-Covid. Under twenty minutes direct commute from Central London
