REMOTE interviewing. 3 days a week required in Central London office.

Java Developer - Fortune 500 Company! A Digital Transformation is well underway at a Fortune 500 Company and major bank's London team and they are looking for a Java Developer to join one of their tribes. All teams work with microservice architecture, DevOps tools and this year, they are finishing their roll-out of public cloud across all teams. You will be working on real-world solutions in the banking world, including the backend services of a mobile banking platform. Challenges that you can expect on a daily basis include problems of efficiency, scalability and speed all within the remit of financial compliance and regulations.

You are a great fit for this Java Developer (Fortune 500 Company) position if you have:

• Commercial Java development experience
• Exposure to AWS
• Docker and Kubernetes (containers) experience

As the Java Developer, you will be mentoring more junior individuals within the team and adopt a strong pair programming mindset. This company is a strong advocate for modern development ways of working including TDD, BDD and CI/CD.
