Head of Philanthropy

Understanding Recruitment is proud to be supporting a national charity in their search for a Head of Philanthropy Fundraising, based in London.

As Head of Philanthropy, you will lead on the generation of all Major Donor and Trusts & Foundations income, creating and implementing your own fundraising strategy to continue this charity's growth.

Focusing on both existing and new donors, you will get to develop long-term relationships and use your stewardship skills to secure five, six, and seven gifts.

A key role to the charity, you will lead a small team whilst also working closely with the Director of Fundraising to achieve a multi-million team target.

To be successful as Head of Philanthropy, you will have:

• Proven experience in securing income from HNWI's, Trusts and Foundations
• Ability to secure five, six, and ideally seven-figure gifts
• Confidence in line managing others and leading a team
• Excellent communication skills and stewardship

Head of Philanthropy / Head of Major Donor Fundraising / Head of Major Gifts / High-Value Fundraising

Salary: £50k-£55k + competitive holiday + pension
