Global Head of Front End Development - Fintech

Career defining role here with rapid scaling Fintech - with a huge recent investment secured and Google backing, this is one not to miss.

We need a Lead or Head of from a JavaScript background, to take on the architectural design for a new direction of the platform, enabling greater functionality and breath of use. Key clients are many of the major banks and trading houses.

Taking on a team of six Engineers, with plans to potentially triple the team this year, you need to be comfortable mentoring or managing and ideally will used to hiring and growing technical teams.

We need someone still fairly close to the action, even if not hugely involved with day to day coding as a key part of the role will be the technical direction and strategy of the platform. You'll closely drive the team and a third party tech provider currently being utilised.

You'll direct, motivate and develop your team and will collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment. There'll be opportunity to work with technology leadership to plan, scope and develop yearly strategy, budget and key objectives.

Engineering best practice, technology and tooling decision making will fall under your remit.

We need a strong front end background as this is where the majority of the work will lay, and key skills needed include JavaScript, Typescript and modern web frameworks e.g., Angular2+, Vue.js, React.
