DevOps Engineer (Python, AWS)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong AWS background to join a well-known Times 'Top 25 Company to work for' and FTSE100 team who are going through a major migration of their application and server environment to the cloud.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be join a large and growing team, responsible for automating and scaling a massive scale serverless AWS environment. Your role will cover a broad range of tech, from applying infrastructure as code tooling (Cloudformation), cloud security and access management alongside creating cloud best practice in a huge live environment.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with;

• Good knowledge of AWS cloud environments
• Broad technical knowledge within Ops including infrastructure as code (Cloudformation), CI/CD and automation
• Good scripting or development experience using Python
• Any exposure to Amazon Connect would be highly beneficial but not essential at all

Whilst technical, you will also be involved in the cultural and process evolution within the platform; improving processes between Reliability, DevOps, Engineering and Platform teams, reviewing future tech for implementation whilst having the opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding engineering group.

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 plus Bonus, great pension and benefits

Location: Bromley, Kent. Currently fully remote, flexible post-Covid. Under twenty minutes direct commute from Central London
