DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a Cloud and DevOps consulting and services team, delivering change and transformation projects for clients, such as the Military of Defence and the NHS. At the current rate of growth the team aim to become the 'go to' destination for Cloud Solutions in the North West.

As the DevOps Engineer you will be part of the tech team building platforms from the ground up to improve reliability and scalability alongside carrying wider infrastructure managed services responsibilities. You will be also working with a variety of AWS services, container and infrastructure as code tooling.

The role is ideal for someone who wants to progress quickly as they believe strongly in employee development and progression. They have their own 'Cloud Education Centre', the only cloud provider in the UK officially supported by Amazon, and have things like dedicated cloud trainers embedded in our tech teams. They pride themselves on being able to upskill the team in these areas and provide long term career opportunities.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with:

  • Good knowledge of AWS cloud environments
  • Strong Linux experience, preferably in complex, scalable environments
  • Knowledge of wider DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform would be beneficial but not essential
