Job Title: Data Engineer

Day Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)

Understanding Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a government sector client in the recruitment of a Data Engineer to work on a 6 month contract with a strong possibility of an extension.

Core Tech Stack: Python, ETL, PostgreSQL

Experience needed:

Python

PostgreSQL or a similar database

Demonstrable experience in working with complex data models

Working knowledge of building and operating ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) pipelines

Experience of conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, data cleansing and standardisation

Experience of appropriate approaches for verifying and validating data and analysis

Proven experience in data architecture and designing new data to meet the needs of an organisation

Demonstrable experience of using software source control, such as Git
