Cloud Engineer (Ongoing Remote)

We are seeking a Cloud or DevOps Engineer with Python development experience to join a centralised cloud engineering team, responsible for the design, development and deployment of cloud environments across a large global data analytics provider.

The team have a Manchester based tech hub and offering largely work from home if desired, even post-Covid, and a very flexible and adult working environment, giving you autonomy to work the hours that best suit around your lifestyle.

As the Cloud Engineer you will work with multiple internal teams in various product areas, almost 'internal consultancy', to define cloud needs and design and deploy individually tailored solutions, giving the role responsibility from initial concept and design to delivery. The group have invested heavily in a multi-vendor cloud environment and this role will largely focus on automation engineering within AWS (with a little GCP).


We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with;

  • Demonstrable Python coding ability, used in either core development or for automation
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS cloud environments and related services. Lambda and serverless environments would be beneficial
  • This role may suit those from Cloud, DevOps (and related environments) or Software Engineering positions
