Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a number of Application Support Engineers interested in automation, monitoring and reliability to join a cloud computing company providing mass scale data storage solutions to the finance, banking and trading industries.

The global team of about 800 people launched their UK office in 2019 and have already grown the UK team to over 200 people, and are planning to repeat this growth in 2022. They are building a brand new large scale Application Team specializing in supporting the large and complex group of customer focused applications.

They are hoping to find those with the ability to learn new technologies, and who consider themselves true "problem solvers" who are interested in working on a complex platform. A key responsibility will be to understand the complex SaaS patform with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues in a fast paced and forward thinking environment.

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with:

  • Experience supporting SaaS applications (with a particular focus in troublehsooting principles)
  • Experience in a Linux Operating Systems environment
  • Scripting ability in Python or experience with Java Programming
  • Broad technical knowledge of monitoring, alerting and automation
