2nd Line Support Technician

Do you enjoy learning new skills and working on different projects? Would you like to join an innovative and fast-growing business? If so we have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Technician to join a blue-chip client at their HQ in Hatfield, Hertfordshire!

The 2nd Line Support Technician's primary goal is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of around 2500 Windows machines and 600 Macs, as well as supporting desktop applications, such as G Suite, hardware, and AV equipment used across the business. You'll be tasked with delivering a first-class service focusing on customer satisfaction and responding to internal customer's needs, including director level stakeholders, within the agreed SLAs.

To be considered for the 2nd Line Support Technician role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous 1st/2nd line support experience.
  • Ability to provide technical support on MacOS and Windows 10.
  • A basic understanding of networking (i.e. DHCP, DNS, TCP protocols)
  • An understanding of Audio Visual technologies is a plus.
  • Clean UK Driving Licence.
